Hello and welcome to my blog "Knock the Cover Off the Ball" which is a familiar phrase in baseball meaning "to succeed beyond expectation." This is a Philadelphia Phillies Fan blog, and I will be covering the Phillies and the occassional other sports around the Philadelphia area.

Besides the Phillies I'll also be talking about my life, politics, and being a college student on her way to getting her BA in Anthropology with a minor in History at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

So can I knock the cover off the ball, on this blog and on life? Well only time can tell.
