You Know What They Say About Lazy Summer Days...

that they really get to you. So yes I've been more than lazy lately, at least in regards to this blog and to all my readers I apologize. I'll continue trying to update as much as possible.

As everyone knows the Phils are playing in Dodgers Stadium in LA. I hope the guys don't suffer from jet lag, I know I would; and they at least win. It was disappointing to see the guys lose in there last game to the Nationals. There wasn't a person with a sad face who left the ballfield yesterday afternoon, and booing-lost of booing at the end.

Who I want to relieve for tonights game-either Madison or Gordon. But for all I know Manuels might put up Corimer, but god NOT FRANKLIN! I'm still not sold on Floyd not matter what anyone else says.

King Cole did well at Lakewood (A) and is set to fly out to LA tomorrow. Yeah, it's nice to see Cole Hamels back in rotation, am I the only one?

Good night, and good luck to the Phillies.

I hate to be the naysayer, but the Phillies are bad. Screw their record, that's trickery. The are actually worse than their record indicates, and it's not even all Manuel's fault, collectively as a team they suck. Utley is awesome, Howard is awesome, Burrell, Abreu, Rowand, Flash, Myers all have their moments and I like them as players, but they just don't click enough to get the job done!

Corey to a certain extent I agree with you, but everyone argues if it's either pitching, players, GM, etc. I think it's a bit of both, and some of the players just aren't in "it"-trying to seize the moment for what it is and then grabbing it, getting a possible win. To me the Phils have a hodgepodge of all of these problems, and they will be solved or not. I can't, as a fan do much about it.

I rather the Phils play hardball against a difficult team (Brewers, Mets, etc) then play lousy baseball against a crappy team. The Phils have a lot of reconstruction to do and perhaps one of these days they'll be where they were in 1993-but with a World Series win.

Or we could be "crused" because of something William Penn said about a certain building being taller, yadda, yadda, yadda. Check out wiki, they have it.
