Eric Gregg has passed...(1951-2006)
Umpire Eric Gregg
1951-2005
I don't know much about the umps at the games and nor do I know about Eric Gregg, but he passed away this evening in a Philadelphia area hospital. Gregg was known to be a staple at Vetrens Stadium and Citizens Bank Park.
Smokin' Steve at All Atheltic saw him at the same game I attended on Wednesday against the Nationals; and I didn't know anything about Gregg until the other night when the press mentioned him having a massive stroke. This is an unfortunate event for the Gregg family and I send my deep condolences and prayers to his family.
Good bye Ump Eric Gregg, you'll be missed!
