Here Come the Yank's

The team that is second in the American League East is making it's first visit to Citizens Bank Park this evening against the Phils, who dodged a bullet yesterday from defeating Tampa
Bay and avoiding another listeless sweep. Now the Phils should learn to play baseball like that every night.

On another note: I know Ryan "Mad Dog" Madison isn't that well liked among the 'net fans online, but I've grown more impressed by his every performance. He had a brillent performance against the Diamoundbacks, did mediocre against the Mets and did very nicely last night. Is he perfect-by all means no he's not, but Mad Dog is improving bit by bit. For that Ryan Madison deserves my respect, he's really earning his way on the rotation.

On the other hand Gillick is still keeping Charlie, and blames our starting pitching for our screw ups. Gillick has neither made any trades or moves before the July 31st deadline, since most teams have there starting pitchers already; but at least Gillick isn't sitting in his ivory tower and not saying anything, too bad he's sitting in the ivory tower DOING nothing.

We do need another 3B, and RF, and perhaps some better power hitters that a lot of the teams are able to get but we, for some blasted reason (does everyone hate Philadelphia or just the Phillies?) can't. Oh yeah and PITCHING! STARTING PITCHING!

Okay I'm done, good luck against the Yanks!
